In addition to designing websites for self-storage facilities we have developed SiteLink Web API 1.1 which is a custom programmed ASP.Net web-based application that interfaces seamlessly in real-time with your SiteLink Web Edition database. The software is installed directly on your web server and is integrated seamlessly into your website. Whether you have us design and build your website, you have an existing website, or if your website is being built by someone else, we can integrate SiteLink Web API 1.1.
SiteLink Web API 1.1 integrates seamlessly into your website. The application is Microsoft ASP.NET programming which is installed directly on your web server. The application communicates directly with your SiteLink Web Edition database in real-time. Any transaction that occurs via the website will immediately show on your local version of SiteLink Web Edition when it is refreshed.
- Rent a Unit/Reserve a Unit: Allows new customers to sign up and rent a storage unit directly from your website. The customer selects a storage unit from a real-time inventory list. The list shows the choice of unit sizes, unit description, and rate. Once a particular unit type is no longer available, it is marked as “Call for availability”. The data is pulled in real-time from your SiteLink Web Edition database so you will not have to worry about updating the website when you make a rate change.The user can either choose to rent the unit, or reserve the unit by paying the reservation fee. You can choose to assign a reservation fee or offer free reservations. Then the user enters their contact information and enters their credit card information to complete the transaction. The tenant receives a confirmation notice via email. The tenant must come into the facility and sign the facility agreement and give the facility a copy of their driver’s license prior to receiving their gate code. The tenant can set up optional auto-pay or ACH once logged into their account.
- Make a Payment: Existing tenants can make a payment on their account directly through your website. Tenants log-in via a secure and encrypted log-in page. They have the option to pay by credit card, checking account, or they can set up auto-pay.
- View Account Balance: Tenants can log-in through your website and view their current account balance. If there is a balance they can easily make a payment.
- View Payment History: Tenants can log-in through your website and view a complete, detailed payment history.
- Edit Profile Information: Tenants can log-in through your website and edit their profile information including, address, contact info, and credit card information.
- Reservation Request Form: A potential tenant can fill out the reservation request form to contact the facility via form-email to inquire about a unit. The form captures their contact information and type of unit they are interested in. The form is emailed to the facility manager for follow up.
When the tenant makes a payment or edits their account profile the SiteLink Web database is updated in real time via SiteLink’s secure API.
